It’s important for you to have as much information as possible so you can choose the right health plan for you and your family. Here are three questions you probably didn’t know you needed to ask, and the answers that may help you make the right decision for your family!

Will Louisiana Healthcare Connections listen to me as a member?

Yes! Our members’ opinions are very important to us, and we encourage our members to share their feedback with us. We host regular Member Advisory Council meetings across the state throughout the year and invite our members to attend. We use the feedback from these meetings to help us improve and to get ideas on what we can do to help our members live healthier lives. We also send out member surveys each year to make sure our members are getting the care and services they need.

Is the Customer Service number the only way I can reach Louisiana Healthcare Connections?

No. Being able to communicate with our members where and how they need us is a big part of our mission. In addition to our toll-free Customer Service number, our members can send us a secure message, 24/7, through our secure member portal. Also, our members can send us a private message on Facebook to request assistance, and we will have the appropriate person reach out to the member.

Will Louisiana Healthcare Connections keep my information safe?

Yes. Protecting your personal health information, or PHI, is extremely important to us. We have security and privacy processes in place to make sure your information stays safe. Our staff is required to go through regular trainings about privacy and security, and our offices follow strict security rules. These are just a few of the ways that we protect your information.
