Who do we serve?

Louisiana Healthcare Connections offers health insurance for adults, children pregnant women, and seniors. If you live in Baton Rouge and already have Medicaid or LaCHIP you can choose our health plan. If you don’t have Medicaid, you should apply for it as soon as possible. The state expanded Medicaid through Healthy Louisiana. This means you may qualify for Medicaid even if you didn’t before. Now you can start getting the healthcare you need.

What do we do?

We help our members get healthy and stay healthy. Annual checkups like eye exams and wellness visits can keep you healthy. These services are at no-cost for our members. Members can also see specialist providers when they need special care. Pregnant members receive full pregnancy coverage. Their babies are also covered after birth.
